1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using PawPad ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
2. Description of Service
PawPad provides mobile pet grooming business management software including:
- Client and pet profile management
- Appointment scheduling and route optimization
- Payment processing via Stripe Connect
- SMS and email reminders
- Business analytics and reporting
- Van health monitoring tools
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and current
4. Payment Terms
Subscription Fees:
- Starter Plan: $29/month
- Pro Plan: $59/month
- Premium Plan: $99/month
Payment Processing:
- Stripe Connect processes all customer payments
- PawPad charges a 0.5% platform fee on transactions (Pro and Premium plans)
- Stripe's standard processing fees apply (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction)
- You authorize us to charge your payment method on file
Cancellation:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- No refunds for partial months
- Access continues until end of current billing period
5. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to your customer data, pet records, and business information. PawPad claims no ownership over your content.
Upon account termination, you may export your data within 30 days.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
- Transmit malicious code or viruses
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service
7. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:
- Scheduled maintenance downtime
- Third-party service failures (Stripe, Twilio, Supabase)
- Internet connectivity issues
- Force majeure events
8. Limitation of Liability
PawPad is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Lost revenue or business opportunities
- Data loss (you are responsible for backups)
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Third-party payment processing errors
Maximum liability: Amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PawPad harmless from any claims arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your customer interactions and services provided
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you via email 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse the Service or other users
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
