How do I get started with PawPad?
Sign up for a free 7-day trial, add your first client, book an appointment, and start grooming! Our onboarding guide walks you through each step.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings. No refunds for partial months, but you'll have access until the end of your billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) via Stripe. For client payments, you can accept cards, Venmo, PayPal, or cash.
Does PawPad work offline?
Yes! Your appointments, client data, and van status are stored locally. Changes sync when you reconnect to the internet.
How does the Body Map legal protection work?
Before each groom, tap areas on the dog diagram to document existing issues (cuts, mats, lumps). PawPad timestamps and saves photos. If a client claims "you hurt my dog," you have proof the issue existed before service.
What are Smart Time Suggestions?
When booking appointments, PawPad shows purple prompts suggesting times when you're already near that client's neighborhood. This saves gas and maximizes appointments per day.
How does route optimization work?
PawPad analyzes your daily schedule and automatically arranges appointments by location to minimize drive time. You can manually adjust if needed.
Can I export my data if I cancel?
Yes. You can export all client data, pet records, appointments, and payment history within 30 days of cancellation.
How do SMS reminders work?
Pro and Premium plans include a dedicated phone number for your business. PawPad automatically sends SMS reminders 24 hours before appointments. Clients can reply directly to your number.
What's the difference between plans?
Starter ($29/mo): CRM, scheduling, email reminders, Body Map
Pro ($59/mo): Everything in Starter + SMS, Stripe payments, AI assistant, route optimization
Premium ($99/mo): Everything in Pro + churn automation, advanced AI, multi-groomer support
Is there a setup fee?
No. Just the monthly subscription. We absorb the Twilio 10DLC registration cost ($19 one-time) for Pro/Premium users.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
